Description
Three hares. A second male attempts to claim the interest of a female during the springtime boxing season, and proves unpopular with his rival. Affectionate response to the much loved European hare, whose numbers are much diminished now in the British landscape. Tenderly painted in Ruth's lyrical, free-flowing style.
