Description
This small Scottish Island, part of 'The Summer Isles' south of Skye, is a favourite of the artist, as he lived briefly on a small boat anchored off the only harbour as a young lad of 17. He climbed the 'Sgurr' (sea cliff) and was rewarded not just with breath-taking views but with a nearby alighting of a huge golden eagle. To this day, he recalls the majesty of that mighty bird of prey, and the glory of an enchanted Scottish Isle.
