Description
So named after an occasional period of 'creative block'. As is often the case, I had no idea what the finished painting would look like when I started it. I chose the colours I wanted to use and started applying them to the canvas surface, trusting that my intuition wouldn't let me down. When the canvas was covered with its first layer, I overlaid some shapes using other colours which I'd diluted with a medium called 'flow improver' to give a semi-transparent look. It became the first in a series of similar paintings.
