Description
Over the course of a year, I photographed my husband asleep on his favourite chair. As is typical of a hard-working man with a physical job he would fall asleep in the evening.
These photographs were sewn together to create the upholstery of a replica of his chair. A CD player is hidden beneath and played to create the gentle sound of a man snoring.
This piece was recently on show at the Leamington Art Gallery & Museum in the AMA show 'Close to Home'.
