Description
'Flower Walk' Mixed Media Painting
The painting was inspired by colours in the plants and the shops while on a walk in a small town. I used paper that had a grid to reflect the gridlike way a town or city is laid out. Nature has a way of covering up the structures, fences and buildings if left to it's own devices and on top of that you have gardens and pot plants outside shops that give a display and colour which is quite uplifting. Where would be without some plants and flowers about! I wanted to translate that in this, quite in your face colour painting.
