Description
Shut up and alone, St Andrew stands in a field on a cold, rainy day in May. The Parish church of Westfield, Dereham, may be enjoyed from near and far even though the church's own description solicitously advises: “In winter bring a torch as there are no street lights. The church has no toilet unfortunately.” Yet I would say it is well worth a visit. With simple architecture and surrounded by open fields, it is soothing to the soul. And the weather only adds to the scene.
