Knoydart is a very mountainous area North of Glenfinnan and East of the Isle of Skye known as the "rough bounds of Knoydart". It's an area of outstanding natural beauty, with rugged, high hills and secluded Lochans and soaring black crags, a haunt of Highland cattle and Red Deer. This scene is a depiction of a rare and calm day waning toward a fine evening.
