Description
Tyre was one of the paintings in the Grand Prix series by Pauline Thomas well known for her bold and powerful art and is now available as a signed canvas print. The print is stretched over a 30mm wooden frame. There is no need for framing and the wooden frame gives a contemporary feel to the artwork.
A little background information for those interested in Grand Prix or those interested in the Tyre painting: The original artwork was initially exhibited in Montreal in 2006 to coincide with the Grand Prix, followed by Barclays Bank Canary Wharf and Petro Canada London Bridge. Tyre was also a finalist of the “UK Liberte d' Expression Competition in 2006. The series was then admired by renowned artist Armando Farina, the Italian painter who painted with Picasso and also had works on permanent display in the Vatican Pinacoteca. Pauline's Grand Prix series was regularly exhibited alongside this incredible artists work and his students in Turin, by his personal invitation. Pauline was also awarded the Diploma of Academician Member of The International Academy Santarita, by Armando Farina, for artistic merit (Grand Prix Series) in 2014. The original was purchased by an art collector in Athens and the image has also been used by a major blue chip petroleum company for their calendar. The image is now available as signed canvas prints ideal for lovers of bold modern art to bespoke size requirements.
