Description
The artwork is inspired by an old Irish legend with an historical date of 637AD. The title of the legend is Buile Suibhne, or the madness of Buile. Having seriously offended a Christian cleric called Ronan, Ronan puts a curse on Buile that makes him insane and turns him into a half man and half bird.
In this image Buile in his madness imagines he has been pursued by five monster heads with goatee beards!
