Description
This painting was inspired by the phenomenal beauty of the sculpted rocks on the Flaggy Shore in the Burren, County Clare. The Burren is an extraordinary landscape that began its life in the bed of a warm ocean more than 300 million years ago. Every time I visit this area I become more and more intrigued by the diversity of the shapes in the rocks that are sculpted entirely by nature and time.
