Description
This picture depicts a woodland scene featuring a figure walking along a path admidst tall larch trees. The rtwork in rich green conveys a sense of lushness.
The figure, seen from behind, blends into the vastness of the forest. The trees are intricately detailed, while on the ground a faint pathway leads deeper into the woods.
The composition evokes a feeling of tranquillity within nature. The interplay of light and shadow adds to the depth of the scene.
This limited edition linoprint is printed by hand onto an A3 sheet of watercolour paper using traditional methods. An edition of up to 50, each will be slightly different due to the process.
It was inspired by family holidays to Trallwm, a family run holiday and forestry site in the Brecon area of Wales.
