Description
This picture depicts a Jackdaw sitting on the telephone wires, boldly contrasting with the bright blue background of the sky. The dark figure of the bird, looking up to the sky evokes a feeling of solitude. The artwork merges natural and manmade elements highlight the coexistence of wildlife in a human dominated space.
This small piece is printed in three colours using the reduction method, resulting in a ;limited edition of 9. It is carved and printed by hand on Bristol board.
