Description
In Trawlers off Iceland II, Coley immerses the viewer in the experience of the crew at work. Seen from the deck of a trawler, figures labour against the backdrop of an immense sea and a luminous, cloud-streaked sky. The engraved aluminium surface, intricately worked and painted, conveys both the physicality of the sea and the human resilience within it.
