Description
'St Govan's On Target' is an original mixed media painting – acrylic, charcoal and hand made natural earth pigment on canvas.
The natural material has been collected from the site on which the painting is based, processed by hand and left in a fairly coarse state to add texture. Paintings containing these natural materials literally have the land that inspired them infused into the artwork, bringing a real sense of the landscape into the work. They inform the choice of colour palette to ensure an authentic feel and connection to the subject.
