Description
Visiting the beach, ebb and flow, seaweed, pebbles, patterns in the water, changing light. All these sights and sensations delight and soothe your soul.
Very often I have no preconceptions about how the painting will evolve. The process is all important, I love exploring colour, mood, expression and marks in mixed-media. Eventually the painting takes over and dictates, something begins to take shape. I like to achieve a sense of drama or tension, the viewer can choose their own narrative.
