Description
Original mixed media by Louise Jannetta, completed 2020. Mixed papers and threads applied to 650 gsm high-quality watercolour paper. Louise will source textured paper or she will hand-make paper to construct the desired texture and effect. It is then cut out by hand and applied to the paper. The image creates a spiralling vortex that is not to confound or disorientate but is an invite into its gentle light-headed, giddy confusion. The image is inspired by the song Dizzy by Tommy Roe (1969)but more particularly the version by Vic Reeves and The Wonder Stuff (1991).
