Description
This 50 x 60 cm acrylic painting was inspired by a walk through the churchyard of St Mary's Collegiate church in Warwick. Its style is influenced by Pop Art, illustration and poster art. The painting depicts the church building viewed through a door in the churchyard wall. It's late autumn with bare branches and leaves lying on the ground, displaying all the glorious colours associated with the time of year.
The painting continues around the edges, giving it a 3D effect. It is fitted with D-rings and picture cord, It's signed on the back and is ready to hang. It was previously exhibited at the Art Room gallery and the Gallery Dentist, Leamington Spa.
