Description
Warm glowing landscape showing the famous view from Richmond Hill, SW London looking upriver on the Thames over Petersham Meadow at sunset. My studio is located on an island just beyond Glover's Ait, the small island with boats moored shown in the painting. The image continues around the edges so frame not needed.
The ethereal glow of morning light spreading its warmth across a tranquil landscape. Using impressionistic touches and oil paints, I aimed to evoke a sense of peaceful solitude and renewal.
