Description

From Swan Lake. Part of “Silent Music Project”

The violin which has been sliced in half represents the two characters of the
Swan in Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake. The white painted side represents
Odette, and the painted black side represents the darker personality of Odile.
The angle in which the sliced violin has been set is filled with white eggs and
one single black egg, emerging from both black and white sides of the same
swan.
The violin has been set onto V1 Variation of Odette and 1V Variation Odile,
Tchaikovsky's music score.
