Description
Brown hares have been a very popular subject for my artwork, having sold two previously. They are iconic and striking and this running hare is no exception.
As with most of my artwork, this hare is completed using soft pastels and pastel pencils on Artspectrum Colourfix paper. The pencils are sharpened to a point and have allowed me to capture the details of the fur, eyes, and grass. The background is blended using polystyrene sticks to give the three-dimensional effect to the completed painting.
