Description
I was born and spent my childhood near the docks of London. I loved the atmosphere, the noise and smells of the River Thames as ships from all over the world were loaded and unloaded. Misty and smokey even on a hot summers day, with ships both large and small, tugs with barges sailing up and down. It was full of life that has now disappeared but I love going back in time to paint the scenes as I remembered them.
