Description
Finally completed and signed off this year. I started this painting whilst in Cornwall 12 years ago. The pilgramage refers to two of my favourite artist. Piet Mondrian and Joan Miro. The swishy curves and vibrant colours of Miro contrast with the geomentic shapes of Mondrian.
I started building up the texture and each year I have returned the piece to the easel and added more and more layers but never straying from the original composition. The interesting thing is that this painting will hang in any format...portrait or landscape...left or right although this has been framed as I originally conceived the painting.
