Description
Night Magicians is a large oil painting on canvas of three white barn owls flying across a lilac and orange twilight sky. It is contemporary art nouveau in style which you can see from the stylised shapes of the twigs and branches of the delicate white tree tops. Each of the owls (associated with the Goddess Athena by the way) is looking a different direction as if they are about to go their separate ways. Owls don't really flock together so maybe they are. Owls are elegant beautiful birds and are all the more mysterious from being so quiet and hard to spot during the day time. This idea alone was enough for me to want to paint this. It is 40x40x1.5 inches, white edges, wide edge canvas, ready to hang, no frame needed
