Description

Pink Robin – Jewel of the Forest

Limited Edition Giclée Print (150)

The Pink Robin (Petroica rodinogaster) is one of nature's most enchanting songbirds, cloaked in a striking contrast of velvety midnight-blue and vivid rose-pink plumage.

This artwork captures the bird's delicate round form and gentle gaze, perched quietly against a soft background that highlights its rare beauty.

Endemic to the cool temperate rainforests of southeastern Australia and Tasmania, the Pink Robin prefers the sheltered understory, where dense ferns and mosses thrive. It is a secretive bird, feeding mainly on insects and spiders, often darting swiftly to snatch its prey before retreating into shadowed greenery. Despite its vibrant colouring, it can be surprisingly difficult to spot in its misty, fern-filled habitat.

This fine art reproduction is produced using archival pigment inks on museum-grade paper, preserving every detail of the original digital artwork. Each print is hand-signed and individually numbered by the artist, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Poetic Note
In twilight's hush, a soft glow gleams,
A tiny flame in forest dreams.
With colours rare and presence slight,
It graces shadows with pure delight.
