Description
Black and white graffiti in Krakow of Gene Kelly from "Singing in the Rain". The mural captures the iconic moment of the dancer swinging around a street lamp, accompanied by the phrase “I'm happy again.” Created as stencil art in spring 2014, the piece is widely seen as a symbol of a city emerging from the trauma and devastation of the world war.
An air of mystery surrounding the artist. Initially, the work was thought to be by Banksy, which added to its notoriety, though this has never been confirmed. The mural is now commonly attributed to Kuba, while others have suggested Mr. Trololo as the creator.
