Earth shine - sometimes referred to as the Da Vinci Glow, the phenomenon has been observed for centuries ..... probably millenia. But Leonardo Da Vinci was the first person to correctly interpret why this phenomenon happens. That it is sunlight reflecting of the Earth and onto the Moon giving off a pale glow.
This painting is from observations and drawings from the 5th October 2024 and has taken 4 months to complete.
