We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's UK Artists Exhibition, showcasing a remarkable array of talent from across the country. After careful consideration by our esteemed judge, Runjeet Singh, renowned for his expertise on BBC's 'The Antiques Roadshow,' we have our prize winners!
 

The Prize Winners

 

1st Prize: Still Warm from Her Lover by Pat McHale

Runjeet Singh praised this captivating woodcut for its ability to transport viewers to a moment steeped in myth and history. He noted, "This artwork challenges us to think deeply about its mysterious character and the moment depicted. Pat McHale’s mastery of woodcut printing showcases a timeless technique, alive and thriving in Leamington Spa."

 

2nd Prize: Gracie by Estelle Robinson

In awarding second place, Singh highlighted Robinson's heartfelt portrayal of her subject. "It’s clear that the artist's affection for the sitter shines through in every brushstroke. This piece was a pleasure to view, revealing the intimate connection between artist and subject."

 

3rd Prize: This is Summer by Marti Hall

Marti Hall’s mixed media work captivated the judge with its vibrant colors and playful brushwork. Singh remarked, "This painting brings warmth and joy, a splash of summer on a rainy October day. The clever use of color and dynamic strokes make it truly stand out."

Highly Commended: Tiffany Budd and Ije
We extend our congratulations to Tiffany Budd and Ije for their outstanding contributions. Their works also embody the creativity and spirit of this exhibition.

The UK Artists Exhibition 2024 will be held at the prestigious ArtsTrail Gallery in the Royal Priors Shopping Centre, Leamington Spa, from October 1 to November 3, 2024. You can find us at:
