Susie Lidstone is willing to accept commissions

Inheriting my mother’s love of art, I have been painting seriously for some 40 years and work from my home studio in Farnham (on the Surrey/Hampshire border), which is open during June as part of the Surrey Artists Open Studio event. Visitors are also welcome throughout the rest of the year, by appointment.

In 1981 I graduated from West Surrey College of Art and Design (now the University for the Creative Arts) with a degree in Fine Art Printmaking, and I have since worked on commissions from all over the world and have also exhibited widely. I am a Fellow of The Royal Society of Art, and one of only a few women worldwide to be elected a full member of The Society of Architectural Illustration.

In October 2025, I was elected to the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers, one of the most ancient livery companies of the City of London (with roots going back to the 13th century), and following in my father’s footsteps, in March 2026, I was made a Freeman of the City.
