Sonia Bublaitis is willing to accept commissions
Sonia Bublaitis was born in Stratford Upon Avon, UK and studied towards her Fine Art Degree at Warwickshire College. Her abstract art has a contemplative quality. She creates garden paintings on wood, slate and perspex.
Her work can regularly be found on display at many exhibitions and shows around the UK. She works on a variety of materials though perspex is her favourite as she is mindful of light and colour dancing through. Her artwork is sometimes a response to music she loves or has composed herself.
Through the interplay of different media i.e. Photography, her aim is to express the spirituality of the world around her and to challenge the observer with each piece using somewhat unorthodox techniques. She has been greatly influenced by the works of Jackson Pollock and Wassily Kandinsky.
"Colour hides a power still unknown but real, which acts on every part of the human body". Kandinsky.
