After being appointed Head of Art at Tudor Hall School, I found little time to create my own artwork. Upon retiring in 2003, I returned to my passion for printmaking, working in my etching studio and exhibiting with the Leamington Studio Artists.
As an artist in the UK, my work explores three key themes: the female nude, ancient textiles, and my travels abroad. My figurative pieces are drawn from life studies of the female form, while Eastern textiles inspire my colour etchings. Whether sketching or photographing my journeys, I always seek to merge these influences into compelling print designs upon my return home.
