I am a self-taught digital artist and illustrator. I began by displaying my work in local galleries and outlets, and to gain further experience and expand my creativity I took commissions for poster art and logos from musicians and various services.
The past ten years have been an interesting journey and I now work primarily in the commercial sector, but I love graffiti art and novelty twists on classical paintings.
My process begins with a sketched draft of each piece of art before creating it digitally or sometimes I will just edit the illustration, as minimalist drawings are very popular. I nearly always work in layers using stock imagery, and being a bit of a 'scatterbrain', will always have several artworks going at any one time. I am inspired by places, books, and in fact, anything that catches my eye, taking photographs for ease of reference.
