Clare Cockman is willing to accept commissions

Clare Cockman studied Fine Art at University in her early twenties. Whilst raising her family and struggling with poor mental health, creativity took second place, but the passion never left.
Now at the age of 50, a new phase in her life has encouraged her to develop her seemingly random eclectic style.

The multi-layered intricate collaged artworks and paintings of Bristol-based Clare are truly individual and thrive on personality, with sometimes cheeky mixtures of imagery and texture. Everything she does represents her at her most honest, sometimes crazy and extroverted with bright colours but often sad and introverted in monochrome.

Clare is often found around Bristol, photographing peeling walls and cracks and marks in the pavements. She sees the beauty in the natural way that marks and textures form throughout the city.
