Cate is a professional wildlife artist, illustrator and tutor painting beautifully detailed and characterful wildlife and animal portraits in pastels, oils and graphite.
Passionate about wildlife and animals, Cate grew up on a farm in Derbyshire and would regularly disappear into the cow sheds, pig sties, woodland and surrounding countryside with sketchbook in hand drawing and painting anything that moved!
Cates paintings have been selected for the Artists category at Patchings exhibition, the Association of Animal Artists, BAS and galleries throughout the UK. The studio door is open every year for Open Studios, demonstrating techniques and answering lots of questions.
Workshops and weekly classes are held in her studio near Oxford and she demonstrates to art clubs and societies throughout Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire throughout the year.
