I have been drawing and painting since childhood. Initially self-taught later I studied as a mature student at the Mid-Warwickshire College of Art, Leamington Spa. Drawing is the basis of my work which has steadily progressed to include all media and provide an eclectic range from still-lifes to abstract.
The inspiration for my paintings comes from several sources including the intricacies of the human form, observation of daily life in the different cultures I have experienced, as well as somewhere deep in my sub-conscious that I don’t fully understand but that expresses itself in my abstract paintings.
Work has been exhibited at a number of National and Local Exhibitions,
