Amanda Horvath is a contemporary artist who is influenced by woods, moorlands and beautiful landscapes. Achieving a B A Hons (first class) in fine art at Sheffield Hallam University, Amanda went on to lecture in painting, printmaking
and life drawing. Now working full time as an artist from her studio her paintings are informed by the natural world and forest bathing. Renowned for woodland scenes Amanda's paintings are full of colour, texture and contrast. With an emphasis on delicate light effects and dramatic shadows, the work expresses a mood of harmonious calm.
