Description
To Fish: Acrylic, oil pastel and ballpoint pen on paper. A traditional hunting method that has been taken to extremes in modern times. Millions and millions of tons of fish are taken from the oceans each day, destabilising the natural balance of the oceans. A percentage of the catch is not edible or not valuable to the fishermen, these creatures usually die during the stressful process of being caught on a hook infested line several kilometres long or they are trapped, crushed and hauled on board to be sloshed around and then discarded easy food for gulls and the like.
