Description
This painting was inspired by the open skies and changing light of north eastern Britain where I spent much time last winter, exploring its coastlines and ancient landscapes.
It's painted on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, using professional artist quality acrylics, mainly ultramarine, burnt umber, blue-violet, pthalo blue, sap green and Paynes Grey, with some metallic bronze and gold paint in the foreground. It has deep edges which are painted white, and is completed with one layer of varnish for protection.
The painting is initialled in the lower right and is labelled/ signed in full on the reverse. It is unframed, and there are picture hooks and cord on the back so it's ready to hang.
The painting will be carefully packaged and sent tracked with a reputable carrier; a signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included.
