John’s main inspirations were born from the beauty of his home country Scotland where reflection, colour, movement, drama, illusion, and texture all play important roles in John’s work.

John Trevorrow, a Scottish artist whose work is shaped by the landscapes & atmospheres of his homeland. Growing up in the small town of Blairgowrie where agriculture & industry intersect with nature, instilled in me a fascination with contrasts and fluidity. The sea’ oceans & sails long a source of wonder & reflection echo through my practice, alongside recurring motifs of water, figurative, flora & dreamlike movement.

Living with chronic pain, I find digital art to be a great leveller’ a medium that enables me to create with freedom & intensity, unhindered by physical limitation. Rooted in a DIY ethos inspired by Punk Rock from its birth in the 1970s & guided by an enduring sense of independence’. John’s art seeks to capture fleeting moments of beauty’ individuality & strangeness’
