The overall framed dimensions of this mixed media work are approximately 88 centimetres x 46 centimetres, it will be included in our 2020 Oxfordshire Artweeks open studios event, ‘Sixty Years of Making Art’, 9th – 17th May inclusive.

Janice Thwaites is an imaginative mixed media and installation UK artist, known for her innovative use of materials to convey complex concepts. Photography plays a key role in her art practice and she has a unique ability to merge traditional art forms with contemporary techniques. With an MA Fine Art degree from Winchester School of Art, The University of Southampton, she is an important figure in the UK's contemporary art scene.

Janice has received recognition for her work both nationally and internationally, with her thought-provoking sculptures and installations being displayed in numerous galleries and exhibitions. She is highly regarded for her ability to create captivating and thought-provoking works of art that push the boundaries of contemporary art.
